In Ronneby, we operate summer traffic from the center through the river out into the archipelago.

Affärsverkens shipping company operates scheduled traffic year-round on behalf of Blekingetrafiken, and we also have charter and event traffic that is conducted commercially. We are looking for Captains class VII/VIII for the 2026 season.

We are looking for experienced captains for our scheduled and charter traffic in the Karlskrona and Ronneby archipelago. You have previously operated in similar archipelago traffic. As a captain, you will have a deckhand to assist you. Responsible for the vessel's operation, working environment, safety, and maintenance. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

Job Responsibilities:
As a captain on board, you have total responsibility for the vessel and ensure that passengers arrive safely and comfortably. Another important task is to ensure that our customers are satisfied by providing them with a pleasant and memorable experience, which means that you, with determination and a twinkle in your eye, assist our customers in both big and small matters.

Areas of Responsibility::

• Operate the vessel safely.

• Be responsible for safety on board.

• Be responsible for operations on board.

• Actively work with the company's ISM.

Experience and Skills:

For the position, the following is required:

• Ship's officer class VII or class VIII.

• Engine officer class VIII.

• CCM.

• Valid Basic Safety STCW Manila.

• Medical certificate for seafarers STCW Manila.

• GMDSS.

• Swedish and English in speech and writing.

• Driving license B.

• Computer skills.

Meritorious knowledge of:

• Previous experience in similar charter and scheduled traffic.

• Local knowledge of Karlskrona archipelago.

Conditions:
